Tropical Underwater Photography
Welcome to my Underwater World!
These galleries contain photographs I've taken in the warm, crystal clear waters of the Cayman Islands in the British West Indies. Scuba diving brought me and my wife Patricia here some 9 years ago and we now spend several months each year in our home just off the famous Seven Mile Beach.

My first instruction was from Martin Edge on one of his Bournemouth, England, weekend courses. At his encouragement I joined the British Society of Underwater Photographers (BSoUP) and can recommend their website (find it on 'Links'). Sessions with the world famous Cathy Church in Grand Cayman followed. Equipment-wise I started with the Nikonos V system and in 2004 moved on to the Nikon D100 in a Subal housing to produce digital images.

Having introduced my daughter Emily to Scuba, she qualified as a PADI Instructor in Cairns, Australia in 2004. She's great to dive with - but she can be such a difficult model!

If you can't join me on a dive, I hope you enjoy my photography. If you want to contact me, please do; I'll be pleased to hear from you.
